Being Church at Home
If anyone thinks we are completely in lockdown, we are not! We are as active as ever! Our programme continues at home with Bible stories, fun activities, prayers and songs. We have played in the mud, painted rocks, waved palms, taken part in an egg-rolling race and made Easter gardens!
Here is Annabel’s Easter garden with Mary Magdalene and the other Mary at the tomb.
Being Junior Church when we can meet again ……..
The children learn in an exciting and age-related way about aspects of the Bible and the Church. Each session ends with a simple act of worship before we share our adventures with the congregation at the end of the service
We meet in the church hall where we have plenty of space for drama, craft activities and games including our much loved parachute.
Once a month our young people (secondary school and above) meet for brunch and a chat with members of the church and ministry team.
Junior Church is run by several leaders on a rota basis. All leaders have been vetted and approved by the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB).
We meet every Sunday at 9.30am in the Church Hall, except for the first Sunday of the month when there is a Family Service.
