Welcome to St George's Church

A lively and active church at the heart of the Beckenham community

St George’s Church half term – Monday 25th October  to Thursday 28th October  9.00am to 12.00noon, and Friday 29th we will close after the 12.30pm music recital.

We are a Church of England parish church and we welcome all who wish to visit or worship with us.

Sunday 9.30am Eucharistic worship is central to our life, this is followed at 5.30pm by Choral Evensong on the first Sunday and on all other Sundays of the month we have a service of Evening Prayer.  We have a mid week Holy Communion Service on  Wednesday 10.30am.

From our worship stems our social activities and pastoral concerns, including Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals. We minister not only to our congregation but also to all who live and work in and around Beckenham.

Our music and liturgy seek to be the very best we can offer so that people can engage with worship. Everyone is encouraged to join in services and social activities.

St George’s is committed to maintaining a Safeguarding Policy in line with diocesan procedures and good practise and the House of Bishop’s Policy. Further details can be found here

There is wheelchair/buggy access into the building from Bromley Road and we have an accessible toilet at the rear of the church.
