Donations

Every donation makes a big difference

St George’s Parish Church, Beckenham depends entirely on the time, talents and financial generosity of its members and friends to support our worship and mission.

While we are blessed in many ways, our regular costs exceed our regular income. In order to sustain and develop our mission and maintain our buildings to a high standard for the benefit of the congregation and wider community of Beckenham, we do need to address the decline in income and for this we need your help.

There are a number of ways to give to St. George’s.

Regular Planned Giving

Regular giving by envelope or standing order is an easy way to give and helps the church with its planning. If you would like to know more about Planned Giving, please contact Nick Startup, via the church office. If you use internet banking you can set up regular giving yourself or use the donation button below.

One-off gifts

You can donate via this website,  donate by cheque (made payable to St. George’s PCC) or you can make a one-off bank transfer directly to St. George’s bank account email the office for details).

Giving in the Sunday collections

We have collections at all of our services. If you’re a UK taxpayer and give in this way, please complete a gift aid envelope that can be found at the pew.

Payroll giving

Some employers will match your giving to charities. Give as You Earn is often administered by the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). St. George’s CAF reference number is 629634.

Gift Aid is a simple and effective way to boost your giving. If you are a UK taxpayer, using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, St George’s will currently receive an extra 25 pence in tax relief from our friends at Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. If you can please Gift Aid it!
