Earthquakes, floods, wild-fires, volcanoes, drought, crop failure and conflict are in the news every day.

Loving God, we hear of disasters all around the world.

Encourage us to do what we can to support those

affected and to be grateful for what we have.

God our Saviour look on this wounded world,
in pity and power.
Hear us as we cry to you for those in danger
from natural disasters and bring them relief
from their suffering;
through Jesus Christ, the Lord of creation.
