Guided History Tours at St George’s Church Beckenham – August 2025

Our popular guided tours of St George’s Church, churchyard and monuments will return during August 2025.
Our historian, Joan, leads the tours and each one is an introduction to the various aspects of the church and its history.
Each tour lasts about 50 minutes and there is always time for questions at the end.  For the churchyard tour comfortable shoes should be worn.

Guided tours include:

A – An introduction to the history of the church and some of its monuments.  Friday 8 August at 10.00am and Saturday 9 August at 2.00pm
B – Stained Glass.                                                                                                                   Friday 8th August at 2.00pm and Sunday 11 August at 12noon
C – The churchyard.                                                                                                               Saturday 10 August at 12noon and Sunday 10 August at  2.00pm

We are also happy to arrange tours for separate groups of five or more people on request.
