Join Bishop James Langstaff this Holy Week, as he leads us on a journey through the people and the events leading up to the death of Jesus.

Taking his inspiration from the book, Holy Week Voices from the Holy Land – Friends of the Holy Land, Bishop James offers us fresh insights and perspectives on how we might respond this year to the events of Holy Week.

In this set of short filmed reflections, which include musical contribution from Rochester Cathedral, Bishop James explores Jesus and his turning out of the money changers in the temple; the disciples and the women who were part of that community; and, Judas.

The book itself includes contributions from Christians in the Holy Land from across the denominations, brought together through the poems of Fr Richard Nesbitt, a Catholic priest in an inner-city London parish, and written during Holy Week in the first lockdown of 2020.

On Good Friday, Bishop James will consider the figures of Peter, Pontius Pilate, and Mary in a series of reflections shared throughout the day.
